Balancing Benefit and Burden: Ethical Decision-Making on Exercise in Paediatric Oncology and Palliative Care

Study Information & Consent

You are invited to participate in an anonymous international survey on ethical decision-making related to exercise in paediatric oncology and palliative care.

The survey explores how healthcare professionals assess benefit–burden considerations, address safety concerns, and experience moral distress in clinical practice.

It takes approximately 15–20 minutes to complete.

Participation is voluntary. No personally identifiable data will be collected. All responses are anonymous and will be analysed in aggregated form in accordance with data protection regulations. You may stop the survey at any time before submission. After submission, responses cannot be withdrawn.

There are no direct risks or personal benefits. The findings may contribute to improving clinical practice and ethical guidance.

This study is conducted by researchers from the Department of Paediatric Oncology at the University Medical Center Mainz, Germany.

Data Protection and Confidentiality Participation in this survey is voluntary and anonymous. No personally identifiable data will be collected. IP addresses are not stored, and responses cannot be traced back to individual participants.
